From Utah we traveled to Beavercreek, Colorado. Wow! What a welcome relief it was from the heat!
It was so wonderful to feel chilly!
We enjoyed hanging out in Beavercreek and catching our breath a little bit before we headed to the second half of our vacation at Younglife Family Camp.
We decided to take advantage of being in Colorado and sneak in a day of whitewater rafting.
We all had a great day enjoying the rapids. It was Addison's first time whitewater rafting and she LOVED it!!
She was Woo Hoo-ing the whole time, even when we were walloped by rapids.
Only in Colorado...whitewater rafting during the morning and ice skating at night!
The kids were so excited to be able to ice skate in June!
It took about a half hour of the kids death gripping the rail but then they got the hang of it and really started flying around the rink.
They had a couple of spills that made me gasp but they jumped right up and kept going.
What fun! Ice skating in a tank top and shorts!
