KIndergarten Graduation

Our baby graduated Kindergarten last week.  It was one of those days filled with smiley tears.
Everything precious and dear.
When Luke graduated from The Children's House, he built and painted a bird house that the school keeps on the playground.  Addison kept up the tradition and made one as well.

Sweet Addison Kate.
She led her class down the aisle, as perfect as can be.
I could barely breathe for fear of starting the ugly sobs.

I included most of the pictures because her smiles were so sweet I could not choose.  She was so very proud!

Addison Kate Boskovich, Kindergarten Graduate!

Lots of hugs for Addison.
It's a big day so big brother and sister got checked out of school.

Our last baby to graduate to big school.
They just keep getting bigger and growing...It's weird since I am not aging at all ;-)

Addison and buddy, Sarah, with their teachers.

Surprise!  Another bird house :)

Happy Graduation Day little bit!
We adore you!

Biloxi Schooner

We recently had a friend's birthday party on the Biloxi Schooner which is always a fun night.  We were lucky we made the voyage because it had stormed all day...it was a little wavy and windy but after a few drinks none of us noticed ;)
Mary Claudia and I sailing.

All my tennis girls!

More tennis girls :)
And then there is this guy...half way through the cruise, Stephen appeared in this little number.
Oh my.
Back away ladies, this one is all mine.

Babies, Breakfast, Fairy and Band

It is happy days around here when we have our Buddy to love on.  He is the cutest, cuddliest, happiest little man and we all love him!

(A little late on the post)
Luke's class invited all the moms to the classroom for a Mother's Day, Muffins with mom.  Each child escorted their mom into the room one by one.  Luke had made me a special placemat and served me a blueberry muffin and orange juice.

All the children in the class read the moms a poem and of course made us all tear up.

Luke's teacher had all the children bring in recipes and she compiled them into a cookbook along with notes and drawings from the kids.

Luke's wonderful teacher Ms. Howell, we love her!!!
She was so sweet and talked about how excited the kids were about their moms coming and then she cried as she spoke about the class, which in turn, made all of us cry too.

Exciting news around here!!
Addison Kate lost her first tooth!!!

It was hanging by a thread and she let Daddy give it a yank and out it came.  She had this face the whole time he did it, she was kind of half shrieking, half laughing, half hysterical.  It was hilarious.

Kindergarten class picnic.  Such cuties.

Amelia had her final band performance for 6th grade band but she LOVES band and is going to continue on the trumpet in middle school band as well.  She is a great little trumpeter-and she is 6th chair trumpet out of 25 so she is doing aweseome!!  Way to go Mimi!

Happy Mother's Day!

The three blessings that make it possible for me to celebrate this special day!

Stephen and Derek both had to work, so after church Jenny and I took ourselves and all our kiddos out to Mother's Day brunch.
We were quite the brood.

Happy Mother's Day to us!

The kids showered me with presents, cards and love that day.  Amelia even brought me breakfast in bed before church.  Sweet girl.
I am one lucky momma.

Spring Fun!

Our first trip out to Horn Island this season was a winner!
Luke quickly started to gather supplies to build a fort.

Ahhhhh, this is my happy place.

Jack Hannah came to town so we couldn't pass up seeing his animal show.

Luke's Third Grade field day.
He made it to the finals in the 50 yard dash.  He is in the bright yellow shirt and socks.

He remained in 1st place for the first 49 yards and then got third!  But he was super excited and we were proud of him, third place out of five third grade classes is pretty great.

Leading his class in tennis ball relay!!

Marine Mammal Institutre

My parents had gotten Addison a Dolphin Encounter for her birthday at our local Marine Mammal Institute.  We scheduled it during spring break so Amelia and Luke could watch the encounter and enjoy the institute.
Addison was so excited and counting down the days until she got to "train my dolphin."

Searching for shark teeth.

Time to play with dolphins!

As soon as we started walking toward the tanks, the dolphins all got very excited and swam over to see us.  They definitely knew it was chow time.  Addison adored every minute of this experience and I was right there with her.  It is really a fun time and we learned so much about the dolphins too.

No fear feeding the dolphin fish.  (She is tossing it in the dolphins mouth).

Addison was instructing the dolphin to sing by swinging her fingers back and forth.

We were tickling the dolphin and he laughs.  So cute.

So sweet!

Addison instructing the dolphin to wave.

Addison then got to instruct the dolphin to go splash her big brother.
What a fun day!!

Next we got a private tour of the touch pools.  Addison and Amelia petting the starfish.

Horseshoe crab.  These suckers always freak me out.  They look very prehistoric.

This shark that Amelia is petting was so friendly.  He would swim exactly where my kids were positioned and stop in front of them so they could pet him.  It was really funny.  Everyone loves a back rub.

Lots of stingrays to pet too.  What a fun family day!
