Wrapping up May

Mother's Day was different this year just like everything else thanks to Covid but I am blessed because I got to spend it with these three who made me a mommy.  We picked up lunch to go which was a big treat considering we have almost exclusively eaten at home all of these months.
Evan and Amy came for a visit in May and it was so fun to have them in Ocean Springs!  We spent lots of time out on the boat and on Horn Island.

We spent time with our friends and their chickens :)

Spent even more time on the boat and out on the water :)

Poor Addison had to have oral surgery to remove 8 teeth.  She did great and now we are on to even more orthodontic care.

Recovery books for Addison

The girls picked lots of delicious blueberries :)
We wrapped up school in May, we are thankful to all the teachers to make the end of the year possible via distance learning.

Passing the Days during Covid

As April and May continued, so did Covid and the need to continue online school and social distancing and masks and filling our days...

We continued to relax on the boat as much as possible.

Fishing

Hanging out.

Addison made an awesome zombie attack obstacle course for the family to participate in.

She dressed up like a zombie and would attack us while we were completing all the tasks.
It was so fun and the whole family completed it :)

Bringing back some old fun, slip and slide!

Addison got creative and started doing these art recreations from Ocean Springs famous artist, Walter Anderson.

Our annual church crawfish boil still happened but it was a drive though so we could not enjoy the fellowship part but it was still fun to see everyone from afar.

We dropped off a whole car load of crawfish plates to the ER staff!
They were so excited that it almost made it worth the smell my car had after delivery.  Blech.

Disney sing a long!

The kids picked some pen pals from our church that were elderly and had to stay in their homes to be safe.  They wrote letters back and forth and it was a nice way to keep in touch.

Addie and I got creative with sidewalk chalk :)
