Christmas Day!

After brunch the kids got some energy out by beating each other to a pulp with this new jousting set.

Then it was time to open all of the family presents!
Thank you all so much, the kids are spoiled by your love!

Addison picked out special soaps and lotions for Mimi.

Yay to video games!
Addison made me this adorable little snowman:)

It was a quick hug between Amelia and Luke, I may have missed the picture, but it really happened!
Luke picked out a pretty necklace for Amelia.

That's better :)

Addison was thrilled mommy and daddy got her a ukulele!

Luke was thrilled with his airpods, airbuds, air something???

Grandma and Grandpa got Amelia this pretty sign for her new room!

Apple watch for Amelia :)

Grandma Joan knitted this amazing Harry Potter (Gryffindor) blanket for Addison and she was so excited!

Sweet Addison wrote a book for Daddy.

Showing off my new boots...believe it or not, I do wear them in Mississippi!
Anytime it's below 60 degrees ;)

After more presents and naps, we headed to Grandpas for an awesome Christmas dinner he prepared!
The girls and I never did make it out of our Christmas jammies but we knew Grandpa would not mind.

Even Wrigley and Sadie came over to Grandpa's house, and like always made themselves right at home!
We had a wonderful Christmas that was filled with family and fun memories!
Here is to an amazing 2019!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning!
Santa came!!!

We set up the timer to get a family shot and every time Wrigley just sat and stared at us.
He would not move!

I had to scoop him up to get him out of the way!

Here is Wrigley again, trying to figure out what the kids were doing...they were looking for the hidden pickle ornament to determine who gets to open the first gift!

New shades :)

Harry Potter hat for Addison, she was in Harry Potter heaven this Christmas!

Fuzzy pillows for her bed.

Luke loved his Bears lunchbox.
Stephen on the other hand was contemplating hours more of present opening, ha!

Santa brought Amelia a new bedding set!

Addison said, "Santa sure knows I am all about unicorns and Harry Potter this Christmas!"

New fuzzy boots, again...Santa sure hopes Amelia's feet have stopped growing now, those boots are a 9.5 and the elves don't make them any bigger :)

After a super fun morning of opening all the Santa gifts, it was time for brunch! Yummy!
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!  2 Cor. 9:15

Christmas Eve jammies!

We had to get the traditional Christmas Eve jammie pictures but poor Addison was so exhausted after the party and church that she was practically begging to go to bed.  (She was also fighting strep throat we found out two days later, poor baby).

Me and my Mims.

Nothing says Christmas Eve like tackling your brother and sitting on his head until he taps out.

My boys.

Wow!  Santa was good to the kiddos!

Our family tree.
Thank you to our family far and wide who made Christmas so special for the kids.

Merry Christmas Eve!

It's time to party!
Christmas Eve means it's time to celebrate Jesus' birthday on the Lane with all of our church family.
And to keep with tradition, the girls slept with pink rollers in their hair the night before :)
Sarah and Addison have been at our Christmas Eve party since they were too little too remember!
Now...

Nell and I hosted together again and did a heck of a job, if we do say so ourselves.

Choir buddies!
Poor Stephen only slept a few hours after working but he made it to the party :)

We were blessed with another perfect weather day on Christmas Eve.

I posted this because some poor baby is flipped upside down on the trampoline!
Perfect timing on the picture!

Apparently, I have very short friends.
I look like the Christmas tree sticking out in the middle.

The "older" generation hanging out with the "new" generation.

Yup, one and only picture of Luke during the party.

Look at these two beauties.  Mckenzie and Amelia are growing up!
Mckenzie had always been taller than Amelia for years but Amelia has passed her up and is still going!

Buds for life.
Luke can't stand he is the shortest.

Alright, we better attempt this picture again.

There we go!

How are my babies this big?

Now...

Then...
We had a great party and enjoyed visiting with our church friends and then we all headed to Christmas Eve church to prepare for the birth of our Savior!
Merry Christmas Eve!
