Hello Summer!

Addison kicking off the official start of summer!!
Woo Hoo!!!!

Visiting Wisconsin

Last week the kids and I went to visit my parents in Wisconsin for part of the week.
My sister, Amy, brought Evan and Annie over to join in the fun at the pool!

Silly faces by the cousins!

I took the kids to a trampoline park while in MIlwaukee and they LOVED it!  They especially enjoyed jumping into the foam pits and Luke loved dodge ball.  He was such a funny little kid playing dodge ball with all the teenagers but he hung in there and was usually one of the last guys left standing because they just couldn't get him out.  He was too quick!

Addison and Amelia both gave the rock wall a try.  Amelia was like a little spider, all legs and arms.  She scaled the wall in no time but as soon as she got half way up, she would let go because she was nervous to go higher.

BRRRR.  The kids joking that they were cold.  It was a nice break to get some cooler temps while up north.

On the lakefront after visiting the Milwaukee Public Art Museum.
Grandpa took the kids fishing a couple of mornings and look, they caught a trout!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Destin Trip 2014!

We were once again able to sneak away from the kiddos for a few days to celebrate our anniversary (early).  We chose our favorite resort within a three hour drive, The Henderson Park Inn, in Destin.   This is our third year visiting the Inn and it is perfect for us in every way.  Thanks to our wonderful, sweet, patient Ashley for taking care of the kids and the dogs while we were away!
Look at my man!  Hubba Hubba, like James Bond!
Of course we could not imagine going without our partners in crime, the Gordons.  We have so much fun together.
JBo and JGo just chilling on the beach.

Going on 13 years and loving it!
Ahhhhh, the beach.  I know my skin does not approve, but I am a beach girl at heart.
Everything is more fun with JGo!

We do sit around a lot under our umbrellas while eating and drinking.  Like A LOT!  But we did get off our beach chairs once in awhile to play paddleball, bocce and bike ride...or refill a drink.  Ha!
See you next year Henderson Park Inn!
