Happy Halloween!

Addison wanted to be in a beautiful dress this year for Halloween.
That was her request...a princess but not a Disney princess.
Just a real princess, so this is what we came up with.
She was thrilled and talked in a British accent the whole night and stayed in perfect character.

Did I mention she wanted Stephen to be her butler?
Well, he turned himself into a ogre butler and he played his part brilliantly also.

A rare photo op before everyone headed in different directions.

Addison with her tennis buds.

Luke and sweet Emma Kate went as Little Mermaid's Eric and Ariel (along with their group of friends as other prince and princesses).
Happy Halloween!

Good hearts, Good choices, Good friends

This sweet girl decided to cut over 10 inches of hair to donate to Pink Hearts Organization!

Wow!

Gorgeous is right!

Amelia and her buddies goofing off at the high school.
We have a great tradition where our high schoolers do Trunk or Treat with all the elementary school children.  The HS kids dress up in a theme, decorate their car, and hand out candy to every elementary student from all three elementary schools.
Such a sweet tradition that our Big Greyhounds do for our little Greyhounds.

Luke and his buddies at the fall school dance.

These girls keep racking up the rewards.
I can't actually remember what these were for, but great job girls!

Boys trip to Chicago!

Stephen and Luke traveled to Chicago for a father/son trip to see the Bears play at Soldier Field.
They fit in some necessary Chicago sites while they were there.

Pizza at Gino's East.

The Bean!

Game time!
Although the Bears lost to the Saints, these guys had a great time rooting for their team!
Love these two guys so much!

Fall Break in Minnesota!

Over fall break the kids and I were super excited to head to Minnesota to visit the Scholtens!
My kids always love hanging out with their cousin, Max and Uncle Kent and Aunt Traci.
It was really fun to hear Max's original music he had just recorded and released on Itunes!
Super awesome Max!  We were all very impressed.
The kids made their own pizzas, Addison with just the crust and sauce.  My no cheese girls, ha!
Traci is the best hostess and we definitely ate well on this trip :)

We went for a walk every day even though they had a little bit of a cold snap while we were there.
34 degrees is cold for me now!

This place was insane!
So was me spending $68 on candy, sigh.
The kids just kept throwing more stuff in my basket!

Cute cousins.

Cute sisters??
We are not looking our best, we couldn't figure out what was wrong with us in this picture until we realized maybe this is what we look like.  Ha!

Pumpkin carving!
They had a lot of fun doing this together.
Zombie, Happy Ears, Shrek and Harry Potter.

The apple orchard was SO much fun!
The kids have never picked their own apples so we had a blast, even though it was legit freezing.

The apples were so yummy.
So was the apple cobbler and apple pie and pumpkin bars we had in the barn. :)

I mean, you can't tell we are sisters or anything!

Too tall!
They had lots of fun acting like little kids in the corn maze and bouncy mat and corn pit.

Uncle Kent buried Addison!
And when you are the littlest, you get buried again by your big cousin and siblings.

Bowling :)
We had the best time, thank you Scholtens.
We miss you so much already.
