Pitiful blog post

I know my blogging has been pitiful, I apologize to my faithful readers.  It will get better soon, I promise!  I just had to post this picture of my Mimi in one of my all time favorite outfits she has owned.  Whale sweater and whale socks, love it:)  Amelia is still happy in whatever I put out for her to wear each day but I know those days may be ending soon.  The day she requests skinny jeans and a 'Chicks Rock' shirt, I will cry.

It's Mardi Gras season!  Bring on the King Cake, parades and beads!  Woo hoo!  Sorry for the sad picture selection.  I was not able to go to the parade this year but Daddy took all three of the kids, brave man.  The fact that he even managed to snap a few pictures for the blogger in the family was impressive to me.

Amelia and Luke lined up with their buddies waiting for the parade to start.  Mommy had a really cool Mardi Gras bag on wheels for them to collect their loot but whoops, they left it in the kitchen.  Walmart bags will have to do.  Notice Addison in the back left corner in her stroller.  Stephen said she snuggled on him during the parade, she would not turn around and look at the floats but she would wave to them half heartedly behind her.  When I asked her if she had fun at the parade she told me, "No, too loud." I guess Mardi Gras isn't for everyone.

Superbowl Champs!!!!!!

Here we are, all decked out for the big game!  At 1pm Luke decided he wanted to cheer for the Packers too but he didn't have any Packer gear!  What's a mom to do?  I live in MS, none of our stores carried Packers gear.  I cut out some home made stencils and painted him a shirt, I was using the blow dryer to dry the shirt so we could get to our parties.  Very late bandwagon but I am still glad he jumped on.

My special VIP chair the Neffs made me!

Addison eating the Green/Gold football cookies we made for the game:)

The kids spent most of the game outside playing although when my kids heard me hollering and jumping around they came running in to cheer with me.  Way to go Packers!
