Thankful!

Definitely thankful for these three (and their sweet Daddy) who make our lives busy and crazy and fun and crazy and loving and crazy and eventful and crazy.

Super fun visit from Aunt Mary Kay and Uncle Craig!  They came to visit from Indiana to celebrate their 20 year anniversary.  We had such a fun time over Thanksgiving break catching up and spending time together.  It was so fun and we look forward to seeing them again soon.

Amelia made apple pie and pumpkin pie this year :)
They were delicious!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Little Blackcreek Camping

We were so excited to go camping, we had not been for a couple of years and it was our first time trying out a RV.
So off we headed to our RV with our three kiddos and three of their friends!
We are nuts!

Fun at the campfire!

Little hands, big laughs.

Breakfast in the RV!
Pancakes, eggs and bacon and we only had the smoke alarm go off once, ha!

We could not have asked for better camping weather, it was chilly in the mornings and night and 60 and sunny during the day.  The campsite was absolutely gorgeous.
Amelia and Emma :)

The kids built their own zipline!

Early morning smiles :)

They all spent lots of time on the canoe...

and fishing...
and in their hammocks.

Our RV is behind Addison and Hope.   Well, our rented RV, that got delivered and set up for us!  That is my kind of camping.

It was so great to have a whole weekend to just play and laugh and relax.

We played lots of games.

Started lots of fires :)

All our kiddos for the weekend!

The sunsets were so pretty.

Addison and Hope.

My girls :)

Luke and Lucas weren't into taking their picture with the sunset.  It was a hard pass.  Ha!

Stephen caught me relaxing and reading my book.  The kids weren't the only ones who used our hammocks.

This made us all laugh so hard.  Amelia "being Luke."  She flipped her hair to mimic his long, golden locks.

Renaissance Festival with Luke

I was lucky enough to accompany hundreds of 7th graders to the Renaissance Festival in Louisiana.
The kids had been studying the Renaissance so it was a fun trip for them, and they got extra credit if they dressed up in Renaissance gear.
It also happened to be our coldest day of the year.  It was freezing!
But they had so much fun.
Axe throwing anyone??

Somehow as the day went on, it just kept getting colder.

The things I do for my kids.
I love it though.

Play time

Recently our church youth group sponsored Knockerball and the kids loved it!
Basically they get inside this giant bubble and then play soccer with a giant soccer ball.  They of course knock each other over as much as possible.
Although Addison was too young to stay and play she did get a chance to try it out :)

Amelia and Luke came home very muddy and tired.

Addison's school recently had a kickball tournament!
Addison and sweet Mrs. Alfonso, her wonderful 4th grade teacher.

Of course Addison was all in on the kickball thing!
She was the captain, pitcher and base coach (someone likes to be in charge).
She did great pitching and got on base and scored every time!
Way to go Addie!
