Our destination from Vegas was to head to the Grand Canyon but we decided to stop and see The Hoover Dam first.
And there it is, The Hoover Dam! It was strange to see this massive amount of water in the middle of the desert.
Here we are on the bridge with Nevada on one side and Arizona on the other.
Luke and Addison decided they were too hot for this picture and went into the car. Ha! It was crazy hot.
This picture cracks me up.
It is a major selfie FAIL. Luke is there too but we cut him out and we are all blinded by the sun and you can't even see the dam behind us. Ha! Not every picture can be award worthy I guess.
After the Hoover Dam, we headed to Historic Route 66! This adorable little town is where the movie "Cars" took it's inspiration for Radiator Springs.
Throughout the town, they had all the different "cars" highlighted from the movie.
It was a great place to walk around and stretch our legs and we grabbed lunch at The Roadkill Cafe.
