Sandwiched in between Christmas programs and tennis tournaments was Stephen's birthday!
Happy 41st to our favorite husband and daddy in the world! Whom, by the way, continues to get more handsome every year.
Addison's friend invited us out to their family horse ranch and look who surprised us!
The kids were more interested in spending time with the horses than Santa but I did manage an elusive Santa photo with all three of them.

Oh the hours we spend baking cookies every December. I make all the same ones my mom made with us growing up so it is definitely a tradition we cherish. AND we get to eat all the leftover buttercream frosting on graham crackers just like my childhood. I usually quadruple the recipe just to make sure we have enough leftover to eat, ha!
We went to see a new Christmas light show this year!
And we brought our buddy Beau, who loved the lights WAY more than pictures.
Thankfully Beau also ADORES Addison and will do whatever she does.
He would only take pictures if Addison would, eat only if Addison did, get in the car only if Addison did, you get the picture; normal three year old behavior.
Well, after a few hours of this Addison told us on the way home, "You know how I have been begging for y'all to adopt a baby? Nevermind."
