Blessings

As some of you may remember, we hosted Momma Leonie at our house back in September.  She runs a Christian orphanage in Belize.  Our church has been blessed getting to know her and the wonderful work she is doing with her children.   Our church collected backpacks, books and personal items for every child in the orphanage and recently wrapped everything up to send to them for Christmas.  What a great way for us to teach our children to share the abundant blessings we have with others.  It was a chance to open up discussions about giving of ourselves at Christmas (and hopefully all year) instead of worrying about the GIMMES, GIMMES, GIMMES that the world tries to persuade us Christmas is about.

Our little members colored pictures for the children in Belize.

Addison and Luke attended a birthday party recently with some crazy face painting and pony rides.

Addison was ready to be a cowgirl!

Luke, per normal, was much more cautious and looked nervous the whole time he was on the horse.

A little out of order here but love this picture of Luke when he came off the bus.  So cute!
