It was award day at Ocean Spring Upper Elementary and it was a proud day for this mama. Amelia received five awards, including Principals list (straight A's for the whole year) and Highest Grade Point average in Social studies.
The next day Amelia received these awards as well. The trophy was third place in Accelerated Reader Points from the entire fifth grade class (around 400 students).
The plaque was 4th place in Accelerated Reader Points from the entire Ocean Springs Upper Elementary (around 1200 students).
She had 652.5 points!!
Way to go Amelia, mommy and daddy are so proud of all your accomplishments!
Luke also had a big end of the year! Here he is performing in his Oak Park talent show. We were so proud of his willingness to go up in front of his whole school and all of those parents to play his guitar. He played "Amazing Grace" and "When the Saints Go Marching In."
Luke also made the principals list for having straight A's the entire year.
Way to go Lukey! You are an amazing kid!
