Hawaii Part One!

This spring we surprised the kiddos with a trip to Hawaii!
We love to tell them about a big trip in a big way!  So we had made a word search that they needed to solve which led them to us dressed and ready for a luau.

All five of us could not wait for another brand new vacation experience together!
Here we come Hawaii!

Well, we finally made it to Oahu after a 10 hour flight!
We were exhausted but thrilled to be in Hawaii!
We were welcomed with Leis and the whole setting was just paradise.
We stayed at the Aulani Disney Resort and it did not disappoint, every detail was perfect and we had an absolutely phenomenal trip.

We dumped our suitcases in our room and put our swimsuits on to check out the amazing resort.
The resort had this great little private reef so it was safe to swim without getting pummeled by waves.  We snorkeled in here a lot and it was so fun to see all the unique fish.  I think Stephen could have stayed in there all day!  He LOVED snorkeling.

The kids had a blast because the resort had a bunch of pools, lazy river, water slides, etc that they could explore even when Stephen and I felt like lounging in our chairs.  It was perfect for our family.
Addison and Luke spent a lot of time in this infinity pool.

This was the view from our balcony.  It was gorgeous.  We had two balconies, one off the family room and one off of the master bedroom.

This was one of my favorite times; Stephen and I would head down and get coffee and sit by ourselves and catch up on life while the kids were still sleeping each morning.
The whole resort was still quiet and sleeping so it was very peaceful.

Some morning coffee with Stitch!

Once the kids were awake, it was time to enjoy the resort some more now that we finally had some sleep!

Me and Baby Girl enjoying some lounge time.

The water was so clear and beautiful.  The kids loved collecting all the white coral that washed up on the beaches.

Sometimes my big kids, are still little kids :)

I mean, seriously.  It was so beautiful.
Love these kiddos, love this man.

Smiling Mimi, with a flower in her hair, how can you not love this?
