Train Ride to the North Pole

We took the kids to the Arctic Express this year and our sweet friends the Kahles joined us.  It was a winter wonderland filled with lights and blow up Christmas decorations.  We got to board a train to take us on a decorated train ride to the North Pole and Santa's workshop!  When the train stopped we went inside the workshop and got to visit with Santa.  The kids were literally bouncing and jumping and dancing with excitement while waiting for the train.  It was adorable.  I never want the innocence to end!
Daddy and Luke aboard the Arctic Express!

Addison getting a little closer to Santa with each visit...  She tolerated this distance on the visit as long as she did not look at the Ho Ho Man directly.

Santa gave each of the kids a wooden train that they then got to decorate.

Not to forget the real reason for the season...their was a live Nativity too.  I think the kids could have spent the whole night with the animals if we let them.  We even missed our "all aboard" for our train and had to sneak on the next one, whoops.  This donkey got really excited when the kids came and started "hee-hawing" so loud, it was so funny.

Addison LOVED the goats and they loved her.  She was pretty much licked into an oblivion and she loved every minute of it.  She would run to the goats and yell, "Goat, come here!" The goat would listen, give her kisses and she would squeal and clap.

Our family, rocking it out with Santa.
