Quarintine Week 5

Our hospital system put out a sign for Stephen in the yard which was a sweet gesture.  He of course, promptly put it in the shed... the kids and I put it back in the yard.  He put it back in the shed.  Then the VA came and put another hero sign in our yard because he works at both hospital systems.  So now he is a double hero, but he still would not let me take a picture of him with the signs.
We are proud of him :)

All geared up at work.
The kids decorated our street.
Our friendly neighborhood alligator.  We check on him multiple times a day on our walks, golf cart rides and bike rides.  He is getting bigger as the quarantine goes on...so am I but let's not dwell on that.

We also have had the fun of watching three different momma birds lay eggs and hatch baby birds  during quarantine.  We even witnessed one set on the day they learned to fly. So sweet.
The kids taught me a new card game which is fun and takes up a lot of time so that is a winner these days!

We made sugar cookies and decorated them like Easter Eggs this year instead of bunny cupcakes or hard boiled eggs.  They only one who eats eggs is Luke so cookies seemed like a better choice :)

Addison is keeping busy with art projects.  She made this by tracing her hand for the giraffe and free drew everything else.
For Holy Week our church posted some family activities to focus our hearts.
This was an activity to write what gives us hope on Maundy Thursday.

On Good Friday we were instructed on how to make a cross from twigs in our yard which we later turned into a living cross on Easter Sunday.
