Stephen's friend Aaditya was finally getting married! And it was the most amazing wedding weekend we have ever been a part of. It was four days of food and festivities and just so much fun.
Aadi's wedding is the first Hindu wedding we have attended and it did not disappoint.
The wedding was held at the beautiful Omni Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Four days with this guy and no kiddos, sign me up!
This was the Mehndi Party-the women all got this beautiful henna applied to their hands.
Stephen attended the Pithi for Aadi, which is a light-hearted pre-wedding Hindu event to bless and "beautify" Aadi by painting him with Tumuric.
This event was Cultural Night and it was SO much fun!
The food was never ending and the family had choreographed traditional Indian dancing for the couple as well as professional Peruvian dancing. It was a great way to celebrate the different cultures of the bride and groom.
The awesome couple, Aaditya and Jacqueline.
These guys sure had a lot of fun in med school together. And it was great to see them all together again, just like they had never been apart.
This was the Baraat, which is the Groom's procession to the Hindu Ceremony.
That is Aadi in the back of the float with all his groomsmen, all the guests walked with the float while dancing to music and drums, it was pretty awesome.
Here we are with Aadi on the day of his Hindu Wedding Ceremony which was filled with many beautiful traditions with joining of the two families.
The final night was the Grand Reception and it was spectacular and well, Grand. The Grandest thing we have ever been to.
I've known these guys a long time and it is still hard for me to believe they are all super successful physicians now.
The ballroom was beautiful, the flowers were spectacular as well as the food, and the entertainment. We had such a great night dancing and celebrating.
Even Mickey and Minnie didn't want to miss this amazing wedding!
Aaditya and Jacqueline are a beautiful couple and we were thrilled to be able to celebrate with them.
