New Year! Same traditions!

I was super impressed with Addison's creativity one afternoon.  She decided to make puppets and the only assistance I gave her was to find paper plates and drinking straws!  Look what she created!  She then proceeded to give a hilarious puppet show to Stephen and I starring her Puppet Princess and Puppet Frankenstein/Vampire.

Amelia recently spent the weekend at the Twin Lakes campsite with her youth group.  This is an event called Polar Thang and it is capped off by a Polar Plunge into the lake.  Brrr.  I am glad I am not a youth leader.
She of course loved every second of the retreat.

Amelia and friends contemplating leaping.

And there she goes!

The girls cabin. Looking dry and warm :)

Mardi Gras time!
We cannot miss the Ocean Springs Mardi Gras parade.  Always fun to get together with friends and prepare for the parade.

Hanging with the Kahle's until we walked down for the parade.
We are ready!

Throw us something Mister!

Addison was thrilled to receive this giant frog.  It definitely helps to have friends on the floats.  Once again the kids bags were overflowing with beads and candy and stuffed animals.  A fun day all around!
