Often it seems like life is flying by and we are barely hanging on to the days. Our life is not always filled with big, earth-shattering moments, usually it is just filled with odds and ends, everyday silliness and busyness.
Addison rocking it out on the way to a pool party. I wish I had enough confidence to rock a bathing suit with cowboy boots but it is not so. Lately Addison cannot get enough of picking "flowers" for us. They usually are weeds but she enjoys handing us a big bouquet, roots and all. We usually take a walk along the water after dinner and we came to a field filled with "flowers." Addison said enthusiastically, "I love this field! It is the land of flowers!" Further down our walk, Amelia noticed a lot on our street for sale and noted the price. She said, "Geez, that is a lot. At least our lot came with a house on it." Cracked us up.
Kroc the Crocodile's birthday party. This is the gym, fitness center, pool we visit frequently. The kids made birthday hats and decorated cupcakes.
Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy nights. Take any random day and walk to or bike to the beach after dinner= happiness for all of us. This time of year is beautiful and I cannot get enough of the beach at sunset.
Luke doing what Luke does best, keeping himself busy building things. He called it a straw hut, I thought it looked more like some sort of altar sacrifice but we will go with straw hut.
Guess what they are doing?
Yup, calling for the ice cream truck.
Makes a sweet night, even sweeter.
Here comes trouble, learning how to ride a big girl bike.
Only Addison can pull off a Transformer bike. She is one tough cookie.
Sweet friends bonding after church with a yummy brunch.
The boys table, they were surprisingly well behaved. What a group of cuties. They are still cute but I can guess in about 10 years they will be tearing this city up!
