Tennis anyone?

 

Besides camp and vacationing, Amelia and Luke spend a lot of time on the tennis court these days.  

Here are some recent tournament pictures!

Luke got 2nd in this tournament.

 

Amelia and Luke both represented Treasure Oak Country Club at the state tournament held in Jackson, MS recently.

Amelia was on the 14 and under team this year and played great girls doubles.

 

Luke was on the 12 and Under team and they were super impressive as well.  Luke played some boy doubles and some mixed doubles.

 

Luke and Isabella have known each other since they were about 2 years old and they have birthdays only one day apart!

They won this mixed doubles match in a third set tie breaker!

Down time and going out to eat are some of their favorite parts of tournaments!

 

This tournament was a one day tournament and that meant we were there for 12 hours!  Luke and Amelia both played well.

Amelia won the girls consolation bracket and she and her partner Molly did great in girls doubles. 

I was proud of them because it was 120 degree heat index that day and they hung in there, Amelia had four matches in one day!

We didn't finish until almost 9pm, they were wiped out!
