Whirlwind of kid stuff!

The end of the school year is always jam packed with activities, ceremonies and concerts especially with three kids in three different schools!
Amelia recently played in her spring band concert.  She continues to be 2nd chair trumpet.  They sounded awesome!

Addison continues the family tradition of catching turtles in her jammies:)

Amelia, Luke and I played in our club Parent/Child Round Robin.  We had a lot of fun playing together and they are both getting so good. We won and/or tied in all of our matches!  We also won the prize for best coordinating outfits!

Amelia recently was confirmed and is now a full fledged member of First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs.  We are so proud of her, her Statement of Faith was beautiful and she has matured in her faith so much over the last year.

I recently chaperoned Addison's class to the Institute of Marine Mammal Studies.  She enjoyed all of it, including digging for shark teeth.

Here she is in the pet pools, petting a horseshoe crab.

Addison and her buddy, Christopher, petting the shark.

And a snake!  Addison and her class also got to rescue a dolphin just like IMMS does on our beaches, and participate in the dolphin and otter show.
Amelia and her band performed in Houndapalooza!  It was a band festival on the beach.  She played perfectly like always!  Proud of you Amelia!

Amelia also was invited to an Honor's Ceremony at the Middle School.  She got awarded with a Honors Math Award as well as a Greyhound Award, which is a character award.  It is always so special as a parent, to have teachers search me out to tell me how much they love Amelia, and what an awesome kid she is.  Her history teacher even called us the other day to tell us she scored a 97% on her 100 question History and Civics exam.  He was very proud of her.

Good job Amelia Grace!  We are so proud of all your accomplishments!

One of our sweet friends, Nell Driggers, is a science teacher at the middle school and she pulled Addison over to her classroom to show Addison the brand new baby chicks that just hatched!  Addison was in love.
Look at our toothless wonder!  She lost both front teeth (with a little help from Daddy) before church on Sunday!  I cannot stop smiling every time I look at her and listen to her try to talk.  So adorable.
Love these kiddos!
They are growing up so fast but they sure bring us joy everyday!  Proud of all three of them and their unique personalities!
