We hiked again, this time to Long Creek Falls :)

 

 

 

 

Such a beautiful hike and waterfall.  

 

Addison sang me Hamilton songs the entire hike back to the car.

This trip to Blue Ridge could not have been more perfect.  Despite Covid restrictions, we were able to have an amazing vacation full of family fun and laughter.  We stayed isolated on the lake and in our lake house and it was just what we all needed.  We all enjoyed it immensely and hope to be able to visit again soon!

We spent a lot of week relaxing and lounging, it was so fun!

 This gorgeous view is what Stephen and I enjoyed with our morning coffee.

 

We rented a pontoon boat for the week so we all enjoyed tubing, boat rides and water skiing all week.

It was so crystal clear and beautiful!

The house behind us was our rental house and it was perfect for all of us :)

We celebrated Matthew's 14th Birthday while in Georgia!

 

The house had an awesome fire pit so we could enjoy smores and sunsets :) 

 

Summer Vacation to Blue Ridge, Georgia

 

By July, our family could not have been more ready to take an awesome family vacation!

Covid couldn't keep us away from our own lake house for the week!

The first day in Georgia we decided to take a hike on the Appalachian Trail to the beautiful Amicalola Falls.

 

 

We loved this trip even more because our dear family friends, the Gordon's, came with us!

 

The hike was beautiful!

At the bottom of the falls, the kids took off their shoes and had some fun but the water was freezing!
